About Brian Allan Odhiambo Agero (Brundez)

The late Brian Allan Odhiambo Agero (Brundez) was born on 10th March 1983 to the late Peter Agero Kosiro and Mrs. Jael Akinyi Kosiro at the Uasin Gishu Memorial in Eldoret. He was the third born in the family and was brother to Michael , Lucy , Tom and Arnold. He was later baptized and attended Sundat School regularly.

Brian startted his early (Pre Unit) education at Springdales Junior School , Parklands and later joined St Geaorges Primary School, Nairobi for standard 1-4. He transfered to st Peters Boardind School in Mumias in class 5 and later returned to St Georges priary school where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 1999.

He opted for the LGCSE system of education and joined Kyuna Academy. In 2003 he passed the GCSE Exams and joined Makini College where he studied Information Technology

Brian had great interest im music just like his late father, After a year at Makini College, he approached his mother and expressed the desire to pursue music as a career. After the approval of his mother he joined a music school in Westlands , Nairobi where he studied vocals, instruments , music production , video editing and mixing and mastering , Later he found SEP Entertainment. His passion and interest in music began in childhood in 1992 when he and his older brother Michael started collecting hip-hop cassettes.

A few years later his interest in music peaked a niche higher when he got to production thus leading to the formulation of S.E.P (SEVEN ENTERTAINING PEOPLE) with his friends namely (Tony , James, Kimani , Elly , Timothy and Kevin).

In the year 2001 they recorded a song called “Hustlers Synphony” at soul child studios. From 2005 he worked at various studios namely, SoutWest Records, Keyskes Studios , Samawati Studios , Gidos at South B, Roc Studios and Maji Maji Studios where he gained experience on production.

Brian was a person of few words , polite ,humble, A keen listener , hardworking , an excellent cook and extremely neat and clean. His wardrobe was tidied uo with every its in its place.

He was honest and always encouraged other to speak the truth. Being an introvert he would spend the better part of his time indoors working on his computer. In the year 2006, Brian’s mother supported his passion by first availing a garage where Brian set up a small studio. She later funded him to get a professional studio equipment. He worked as the head producer at Roc Studios after which he moved to Roysambu to sharpen his production skills.

Brian travelled to Nairobi with his elder brother Mike on Tuesday 21st January 2014 to collect the last item for the studio after a call by the vendor in westlands. Brian left kisumu in sound health, the following day on Wednesday he started complaining of chest pain and he proceeded to a nearby clinic where the Doctor attended to him and informed him that it was pneumonia developing and asked him to take the medication as prescribed.

On Thursday, 23rd January 2014 he woke up feeling much better. He an mike went to Westlands to pick the item that had brought them to Nairobi. On Friday 24th January 2014, he was well and even talked to a number of people in his cellphone and till 4:30pm when he started developing breathing problems.He could not talk but was struggling to breath.

At this point in time his brother Mike called a taxi and rushed him to Mater Hospital at Thika Road Mall. On arrival at the hospital he was pronounced dead.

A postmortem done revealed that indeed Brian died of acute pneumonia. We believe this may have been caused due to night travels.
