Celebrating The Life Of Brenda Achieng Binge 18 July 1989 – 11 August 2026

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Brenda Achieng Binge, a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, daughter- in-law, sister-in-law, auntie, colleague, mentor, and dear friend.

Brenda was the beloved wife of George Philip Ohulo and a devoted mother of Ruth Azalea Ohulo and Baby Azriel Hono Ohulo. She was the loving daughter of the late Barrack John Binge of Asego Kanyada and the late Ruth Binge of Nyakach Koguta, and a beloved sister of Maureen Binge, Violet Binge, and Arnold Binge.

Brenda was a beloved daughter-in-law to the late Silas Sino Adede and Pamela Anyango Ngode of Gem Kathomo, Siaya, and a cherished sister-in- law of the Adede family. She embraced her in-laws as her own family and treasured the bonds they shared. Brenda was a passionate environmentalist, researcher, and sustainability professional. She served as Senior Research Associate with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, a position she held until her passing.

She will be remembered not only for her professional excellence, but also for her kindness, warmth, generosity, and the positive impact she made on the lives of those around her.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:

A funeral service will be held at Nairobi Central SDA Church on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, followed by burial at Gem Kathomo, Ayora, Siaya County, on Friday, 4th September 2026.
Rest in eternal peace, Brenda.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
