It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of John Maina Wanjohi (Gachiri).

Loving Husband of Beth Wanjiru and Father of Angela Njoki, Linda Nyambura and Samuel Wanjohi. Father-in-law of Anthony Gikaria. Loving grandfather of Ayana, Eddy and Maina. First born Son of the late Samuel Wanjohi and Rachel Nyambura. Brother of Simon Macharia, Eva Wambui, George Gachuri, Allan Kirungui, the late Isaac Kariuki and the late Joseph Mwangi. Brother-in-law of Joyce and Mercy. Uncle of Wanjohi, Mercy, Lawrence, Stanley and Samuel.

Friends and family are meeting at his Nairobi home at Harambee Estate and the Wanjohi’s homestead in Munyu, Thika. The cortège leaves Montezuma Kabati on Thursday 21/11/2019 at 8.00am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Munyu, Thika.
