Mr. Joe Abong’o Orifah

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mr. Joe Abong’o Orifah, who passed away on 9th September 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Moses Abong’o Orifah and Jane Nyamunga Orifah, and stepson of the late Mary Orifah and Florence Atieno Orifah of Mfangano Island (Homa Bay County).

He was the beloved husband of Jecinta Mildred Orifah.

He was a loving father of Veryll Joe, Brian Gregory Orifah, Ursla Orifah and Basil Wydler.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS: The cortege will leave the mortuary on 23rd September 2026 for an overnight stay in Mfangano Island. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest on 25th September 2026 at the family farm in Mukuyu (Stella), Migori County.
