Thomas Masila Makenzi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mr. Thomas Masila Makenzi (formerly Principal Secretary KNEC), which occurred on the 19/02/2021, after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Dorcas Munini Mwanziu (Headteacher Daniel Comboni Pri. Sch). Loving father of Samuel and Timothy. Son of the late Mr and Mrs Makenzi, Brother of Rael, the late James Mackenzie, Justus (Retired Senior Chief Njukini), David (Mass Labs), Ronald Ngala Makenzi (TARDA, Kiembere Dam) & Nathan Makenzi (Principal Mathauta Sec. Sch.). Step-brother of Muthama, Mutuku, Mbindyo, Masila, Mwikali & Nzioka. Brother-in-law of Nelly Makenzi (NSSF), Sofia, Mavondo, Ruth Nyamai, Ruth Musyoki, Norah, Rose. Uncle of Martin, Ben, Cosmas, Mbithe, Kamene, Muthini, Katheu, Mary, Ezekiel, Daniel, Nzasi,Wambua, Mutheu, Morris, Ann, Mueni, Nicholus, Jackson, Muthini, Margaret, Susan, Danson, Mutua, Steve, Mulwa, Erick, Carol, Purity, Faith, Mwendwa, Diana & Patience.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his homes in Kambu and Athi-River.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday the 24th of February, 2021, at Liberty Christian Center Nairobi (RGC plainsview) from 2.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos, on Tuesday 02/03/2021, at 6.00am, for the burial at his home in Kambu, Muthingiini Location, Makueni County.
